10 Most Embarrassingly Bad Wrestling Promos Of All Time

2. Rambo Greg Gagne: "The Way I Feel Inside About Sarge"

No one ever accused Sylvester Stallone of being a master thespian, but at the very least he's always been able to successfully portray a muscular guy who yells. Not so Greg Gagne, the soft-spoken, gangly offspring of AWA patriarch Verne. In one of his less impressive attempts to make the world take his son seriously, Verne had the lad placed in the care of Sgt. Slaughter. The sarge dutifully put Greggles through the proverbial training from Hell at what appeared to be a local summer camp, all set to a tune from the Time-Life "Early 80's Porno Soundtrack Collection."

Roughly two minutes of intense log-stacking action later, Slaughter unleashed "Rambo" Greg Gagne upon the world, who looked strangely like "Regular" Greg Gagne bedecked in a gingerly-shredded camouflage t-shirt. Prompted by the sarge, Greg began to calmly recite his desire for victory in a tone of voice that somehow managed to sound simultaneously comatose and on the verge of tears.

As Greg began to speak tearfully about how he felt deep inside about Sarge, thousands of already creeped-out viewers at home prepared to switch channels just in case the porno music started up again.
