10 Most Polarizing Wrestlers Working Today
10. Charlotte Flair
The last time this writer discussed divisive wrestlers, Charlotte took the no.1 spot. Back in 2020, Charlotte had legions of fans who adored for her sensational wrestling ability, as she stuffed her resume with mat classics against the the Asuka, Sasha Banks and Rhea Ripley. However, there were an equal number of detractors who pointed out that the majority of Charlotte's opponents were worse off after feuding with her, and that they were sick of WWE placing all its eggs in a Flair-shaped basket.
Flash forward to the present day and, while Charlotte deservedly retains a huge number of fans for her unquestionable wrestling skill, her detractors have only become louder and greater in number.
Despite missing over a year of her career due to injury, Charlotte's return to regular TV saw her roundly booed by a RAW audience who were clearly less than enamored with her Rumble win the night before. You can understand their frustration - people were getting sick of Charlotte being pushed to the moon five years ago, and WWE have clearly learned nothing during Flair's prolonged hiatus.
Charlotte will always have fans due to her unparalleled work-rate, but it's telling that her 13-month absence did not engender feelings of fondness from many of the WWE faithful.
