10 Most Shocking WWE Roster Cuts EVER
2. Big Show
In the same way that his kayfabe father André the Giant gave his best years to Vince McMahon, Big Show also provided the maniacal CEO with decades of loyalty.
After debuting at St. Valentine's Day Massacre in 1999, the former Giant spent 22 years in various positions up and down the card. From world champion to comedy special attraction, whatever the role was, Show would do it. Especially if it meant he could turn face/heel. He loved doing that.
Having given so much of his life to WWE, it was just assumed that this would be Show's home until he decided to call it a day. He wasn't happy with his position, though, so he made the brave decision to try something new.
In February 2021, under his real name of Paul Wight, the big man made his debut for AEW. This was like seeing a Whopper in a Big Mac wrapper. For years, Show had embodied WWE's vision of sports entertainment. He didn't seem like he belonged anywhere else, let alone AEW.
And yet, it's been over five years, and he's still there. Can't say fairer than that.
