10 Opponents For Roman Reigns After WWE WrestleMania 32

5. Samoa Joe

Speaking of needing heels, Samoa Joe is another superstar that could easily be moved into a program with Roman Reigns that fans would believe in. Joe should really be on the main roster right now, given his experience and ability along with the number of injuries to the main roster's top tier talent. Had he not been in the middle of the NXT title picture and still nursing a feud with Finn Balor, Joe probably would've gotten the call-up already, but as it is WWE are unlikely to bring up the former TNA Champion this close to WrestleMania. Instead, Joe's road to WrestleMania looks like it will come from Orlando as he should continue to work the likes of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews in NXT. Joe's been a vital part of the NXT roster since his debut in the Summer of 2015 and a Spring call up to the big show would provide Monday Night RAW with a fresh face and a credible opponent for Roman Reigns. To continue in the post-WrestleMania tradition of debuting new superstars on the main roster, WWE would be wise to bring Samoa Joe up as a big-time heel and position him as a top-tier threat to the future WWE Champion Roman Reigns. The match probably isn't capable of headlining SummerSlam at this point, but Payback, Money In The Bank, or the WWE Network exclusive Elimination Chamber (provided WWE still produces this event) would be perfect stages to see the two big Samoans square off on.
