10 Reasons Why Roman Reigns Must Return As A Heel

10. WWE Can Push Him Without Worrying About Him Flopping

Saying that WWE is invested in pushing Roman Reigns is an understatement. Their single-minded dedication to making him the company's top star has, over the past year and a half, completely turned the WWE Universe against him.

The reaction to Reigns has had an inevitable effect on the way he's been handled. He was supposed to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31, but Seth Rollins got the nod to send the crowd home happy. Reigns finally won the title at Survivor Series, but WWE's decision-makers thought it would make him more endearing to fans if he was robbed of it and had to get it back.

As a result, if Reigns claims the belt at Battleground, he'll have become a four-time champion in the space of eight months.

If WWE were to turn Reigns, they wouldn't have to worry about fans booing him - that's the point. They can have Reigns win as many matches as they want - or hold the WWE Title for as long as they want - and the more jeers he gets, the better. And if the unthinkable should happen and the heel Reigns starts getting cheered, well, that's not nearly as bad as the situation they've got now.
