Scanning those former NXT stars currently on the main roster, it's a bit of a mixed bag in terms of success rate. Names like Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns are undeniably doing well, but then there are those like Tyler Breeze and The Ascension who are really struggling. WWE should be mindful of this, because they don't want that to happen too often. Whenever NXT talent moves up to shows like Raw and Smackdown, it should be because management are very sure they are ready to make a splash. This doesn't necessarily affect guys like Finn Balor, his performances speak for themselves, but not everyone is in that same boat. For example, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are extremely over in NXT, and that should transition to the main shows. It's not a given however, because there's a chance they'd get lost in the mid card shuffle. A 'Brand Extension' would help remedy this, and WCW could play a part in that. There would be a buzz surrounding the idea of turning Raw into a WCW show, which would give an 'Us vs. Them' vibe to proceedings. By pledging their allegiance to a certain brand, NXT stars would get more television time, because there's approximately half the number of wrestlers to compete with for slots.
