10 Reasons Why Shane McMahon Should Bring Back WCW Raw

5. The Return Of Starrcade Would Be Imminent

Even before WrestleMania was a thing, the NWA had Starrcade. Debuting in 1983, the annual event became tradition in the organisation, something that continued once the WCW promotion formed separately in the late-1980's. This was a strange time, because WCW effectively split from the NWA branding, yet continued to use many of the same wrestlers and ideas it always had done. To those who followed the promotion, Starrcade was the biggest show of the year. For lack of a better comparison, it was WCW's own version of WrestleMania, the event around which they built most others. The last Starrcade was in 2000, and there have been older fans clamouring to see it return ever since. Could 2016 be that year? Surely, if Monday Night Raw became a WCW-branded show, Starrcade would enter discussions. Even as a WWE Network special, it'd feel massive to have it back in circulation. There's something grand about the name itself, and then there's all that history WWE could pedal to make it feel even more impactful.
