10. Vince Russo (7 Days - September/October, 2000)
Over the years, a lot of people have pointed fingers of blame directly at Vince Russo. For this part, the writer has always defended his time in charge of WCW, claiming that he would do the exact same things again if given the chance. That seemingly includes making himself WCW World Champion, something which horrified wrestling fans when it happened in late-2000. Not only was Russo not an actual wrestler, he defeated a man many felt was a rare bright spark for the promotion during the period. Booker T was heralded as a great choice as champ, so it was awful to see Russo emerge victorious over him in a Steel Cage Match on Nitro. Russo has deflected criticism over the bout, because he won indirectly due to a Spear from Goldberg. Sadly, that doesn't save his reign from being one of the worst. Making things even more sour, it only lasted one week. On the next episode of Nitro, Russo vacated the belt and it ended up back around Booker T's waist. This was a colossal waste of time. The only thing that keeps it from going higher on this list is the fact that WCW was pretty much gone by this point.
