10 Things Post-WrestleMania 36 Raw Told Us About WWE’s Future
Weeeeeeeeeell...it's a bit slow.
The Raw after WrestleMania is traditionally WWE's wild west. Fans in the area who don't have crushing hangovers and still want a party flock in their droves to the designated arena - hyped up on booze and adrenaline, that crowd then sets the world ablaze by either living it up or trolling the promotion's plans. Sometimes both.
2020's version was totally different.
The post-WrestleMania 36 episode took place in the small confines of WWE's Performance Center, and that changed everything. Celebrations of old amongst thousands of screaming fans up for a laugh were replaced by a more strait-laced atmosphere overall in front of exactly nobody. Even so, those watching with an eagle eye would've spotted some hints WWE dropped about their immediate future.
Despite the unique circumstances and lack of carnivalesque banter people have become so accustomed to on these shows, the company did manage to bring back some familiar names, book a title match longer than 'Mania's main event, settle back down after the weekend and more.
What can one learn about coming months from this one broadcast? Quite a lot, it turns out...
