Throughout 1999, endless amounts of black and white segments were shown of wrestlers hanging out backstage, having secret conversations or doing embarrassing things. It's been rumoured that the perpetrator was eventually supposed to be Goldust, but the WWF never revealed who was setting up the hidden cameras and spying on his/her peers.

In fact, the WWF didn't reveal much of anything. After a while, the segments were shelved, never spoken of again and fans buying into the intrigue were left wondering why they'd even bothered. Sitting through Al Snow reading magazines and talking to Head for precisely zero reason? Yeah, Attitude was a thrill a minute.
