10 Worst WWE Championship Reigns Of The 2010s
3. Bray Wyatt (February-April 2017)
In the long history of the WWE Championship, nobody seemed like a less likely holder than the stocky, bearded, dreadlock-wearing cult leader, Bray Wyatt. Yet, at Elimination Chamber 2017, he outlasted the likes of AJ Styles and John Cena to do the impossible.
Everybody wanted the best for Bray. Everyone except WWE.
It soon became clear that Wyatt had only won the title so he could lose it to Randy Orton at the upcoming WrestleMania 33. Fans could stomach this to a certain extent, but they weren't prepared to put up with the nonsense that would play out on that stage.
I could just write 'projections of bugs' and you'd all know exactly what I was talking about. Wyatt lost to Orton in comfortably one of the worst world title matches in Mania history, having spent just 49 days at the summit. Though he would have a couple of reigns with the Universal Championship, Wyatt would never get his hands on the most prestigious belt ever again.
His sole time at the top was done purely to give Orton a big victory and it wasn't even done well.
