10 Worst WWE Championship Reigns Of The 2010s
2. The Miz (October 2010-April 2011)
From reality show contestant to WrestleMania main eventer, The Miz' story should be one of the greatest in wrestling history.
Unfortunately, it happened to The Miz.
Ol' Mikey did the unthinkable when he cashed in Money in the Bank on an October 2010 episode of Raw. Anyone hoping for a quick reign would be disappointed, as he held onto the spinner belt for 160 days.
Apart from a bangin' Falls Count Anywhere match with John Morrison on Raw, the champion was never given a chance to shine. He fought Randy Orton a few times, but his other main rival was Jerry Lawler. Yes, Jerry Lawler. The pervy colour commentator who was in his early 60s at the time.
Then there was WrestleMania XXVII. His battle with John Cena is widely regarded as one of the worst closers in Mania history, especially as it was clear that Miz was playing third fiddle to Cena and The Rock. By the time he dropped the title at Extreme Rules, everyone on planet Earth had grown sick and tired of this smug midcarder.
He never won the title again... wait, he did? For God's sake...
