10 WrestleMania 41 Card Predictions After WWE Royal Rumble 2025

2. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton

There's a sense of inevitability about Randy Orton avenging a wicked spike piledriver from ex-tag-team partner Kevin Owens once he returns. That angle lit up the 8 November 2024 episode of SmackDown, and it hasn't been forgotten. Cleverly, WWE made that the crux of Cody Rhodes' problems with KO too. Revenge is coming for 'The Viper', and it could come alongside a nice WrestleMania payday.

Owens is at a loose end after his own kayfabe'd injury woes at Royal Rumble. He was mauled by Cody and took one of the sickest bumps fans have seen for a while through a ladder. Sami Zayn looked on concerned (and glared at Rhodes in a neat tease of his own heel turn), but it's unlikely he and Kev will hit the tag ranks again anytime soon. KO has business to do with Randy first of all.

Putting them in a 'No DQ' brawl on the undercard of night one or night two at 'Mania sounds like the best plan. That way, Orton and KO can get bloody, and Randy can get vengeance for what happened to him by hitting an RKO then maybe a piledriver of his own for the win. Afterwards, perhaps Sami can be miffed at him for "going too far" as well.

Orton will get one of the biggest pops of 2025 once he returns to TV. People are primed and ready for it, and Owens has been stunning as a heel since last year. He's one of the most well-liked wrestlers ever, but has somehow managed to force boos from a previously-adoring public.

This is going to be good. Real good.
