Money In The Bank 2011 was one of the first moments when it became clear that maybe, just maybe WWE would look past their initial reservations about Daniel Bryan and treat him the way his world-class performances deserved. Winning one of the ladder matches and receiving a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship by proxy, Bryan was the only real highlight of a pretty shoddy match lineup. Amongst those names letting the side down was career mid-carder Justin Gabriel, who didn't look like a great fit for such a high-profile bout. Sure, Gabriel was a high-flyer, but he looked to be having a nosebleed by being so far up this particular card, and few gave him much chance of winning. That's a crucial point, aforementioned during an earlier entry - fans need to believe that each wrestler in the match has a feasible chance of winning, otherwise what's the point of them being there in the first place? In a nutshell, that was the problem with Justin Gabriel, it was obvious that WWE weren't taking him seriously, so why should fans? Speaking of which...
