A bit of a left-field pick, the son of Fit Finlay is only just making his first steps into the murky waters of professional wrestling. Currently performing for New Japan Pro Wrestling, David Finlay Jr. is knee-deep in his young boy duties, picking up losses in multi-man matches and allowing the veterans to enter the ring by leaning on the ropes in a subservient manner. German-born Finlay is only 22 years old but is in the best place for learning his craft. His progress since making his debut in the 2015 Best of the Super Juniors tournament has been remarkable, a clear example of the benefit of working with experienced world-class performers on a regular basis. Having a well-respected and hard-working father who works for WWE certainly doesn't hurt, either. His future is bright, and a spot in the Global Cruiserweight Series is a distinct possibility. The fact that his dad works backstage as an agent increases the likelihood of this happening, and if someone has to lose in the first round then who better than a New Japan young boy?
