10 Wrestling Jobbers So BIZARRE They Feel Made Up
3. The Frog
Right, an apology is due first and foremost. That blurry screen grab above is actually the best we could do for this entry. Why? Well, it won't shock anyone to learn that finding episodes of WCW WorldWide from April 2000 in stunning quality is rather difficult. So, grainy footage it is. You're not really missing much, let's be honest.
On the left, you might be able to make out JC Ice and Wolfie D. Who's kidding who? Even forensics would have a hard time figuring out who these watery messes are supposed to be. That is JC and Wolfie though. Meanwhile, on the right, meet Frog. That was all he was known as, but apparently he also worked as Toad on the independent circuit when he wasn't chasing WCW glory.
Frog/Toad's real name is Curtis White. He hasn't worked a match on record since 2007, but did wrestle 5 bouts for WCW in the year 2000. 3 happened on WorldWide, and he was also booked on a couple of house shows (Frog even teamed with Lodi/Rave to wrestle The Harris Twins for the WCW Tag Titles).
All 5 of his WCW showings were tags, actually. Did nobody trust him to work in a singles setting? Being fair, looking every bit like someone you'd see on a backyard show promoted by the Insane Clown Posse likely had something to do with that.
So, next time somebody asks you to name an obscure wrestler that practically nobody knows, bring Frog/Toad into the mix and watch their face contort into confusion. That'll be followed by a puzzled, 'Who?!'.
