8. Joe Hendry vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

This might not sound like a dream match, but you just try and tell anybody you don't want to hear the song that Joe Hendry would write about Scotty 2 Hotty. Think of all the rhymes there are for 'worm'? The possibilities are endless. 

Before he wound up in WWE, Hendry had an extensive indie career that took him from his native Scotland to the United States and beyond. In 2022, long after he'd established himself on the other side of the Atlantic, the Prestigious One returned to the UK for a match at North Wrestling's 'Party Till You Puke' event. Charming. 

His opponent was one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era, and that's not hyperbole. Scotty 2 Hotty got a massive reaction from the British fans, to the point where Hendry was forced to work heel. The Scotsman got the win when a heel named Shreddy assisted him behind his back. 

Instead of aligning with this villain, The Local Hero joined forces with Scotty and his son to beat up Shreddy and send him packing with a flurry of Worm attacks. You've gotta love a happy ending.
