10. The Eggman

'Oh God, they're gonna turn me into The Eggman'.

That's something the future Undertaker told friends when jumping over from WCW to the WWF. Keep in mind that he wasn't a stalwart of the upper card in 1990. No, Mark Calaway was merely a WCW midcarder who was hoping to catch a break in Vince McMahon's outfit. He was definitely horrified about the looming egg chat though.

Calaway knew he'd be debuting at the 1990 Survivor Series, and he watched the company promote who/what was inside a giant egg heading into the pay-per-view. Infamously, that gig went to Hector Guerrero as The Gobbledy Gooker, but 'Taker didn't know that back then. He was too busy mopping his brow and sweating at the prospect of becoming 'Eggman'.

As ridiculous as this sounds looking back, his fears were understandable. After all, that egg was carted around for various television tapings and was eating up a fair chunk of camera time. The announcers hyped it as "a happening", and Undertaker hadn't caught wind of anybody else debuting come Survivor Series.

When framed that way, it's perhaps no surprise that he was having kittens and readying for the laughs that'd come his way afterwards. Post-show, Undertaker should've agreed to buy Hector Christmas cards for life, because his mortician gimmick was a million miles away from 'Eggman' or the Gooker.

It was poor, unfortunate Guerrero who had to dance with 'Mean' Gene Okerlund, not 'The Deadman'. 'The Eggman' wouldn't have scored an impressive winning streak at WrestleMania. That's just a guess, but a fair one!
