OK, hopefully we wont get a rematch on Raw to negate this title win in 24 hours. A serious argument can be made that if WWE was determined to actually make a new star out of Kalisto, he wouldnt have lost his United States Championship rematch against Alberto Del Rio three days after winning the title. That was just WWEs 50/50 booking, kicking into overdrive once again. Be that as it may, at least WWE did things the right way in the U.S. title match Sunday, with Kalisto absorbing a ton of punishment, persevering and overcoming to beat Del Rio and regain the championship. Del Rio kept up the pace in this match and made the luchador look strong in the match, eating Kalistos Salida del Sol twice in a losing effort.Now, if WWE is smart (and thats saying a lot), theyll book him strongly going forward so that this doesnt look like a fluke.
