Finally, we got a Divas Championship match that lived up to expectations, as Becky Lynch and Charlotte went toe-to-toe in a solid bout that had clearly defined lines. Fans were solidly behind underdog Becky and loudly booed Charlotte and her antics. It also helped that Ric Flair was on hand to help out his daughter, giving fans another reason to cheer Becky. Lynch and Charlotte had a pretty good match, countering each other several times and hitting some crisp offense. It was exactly the kind of match the Divas division needed right now, after the so-called Divas Revolution had seemingly flamed out.Its unfortunate that the match was marred by Flair throwing his jacket into the ring (not to mention his kissing of Becky), but if youre going to have Charlotte be a heel champion, then shes got to cheat to win. Sometimes, that means your manager (or your father, in this case) gets involved.
