When discussing Wrestlemania in any form, its hard to not look at the record breaking Wrestlemania III. In a classic case of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object, Hulk Hogan would defend his WWF Championship against former best friend (not to mention billed as undefeated in 15 years) Andre The Giant. The finish of the match is the stuff of legend, with Hogan managing what many thought was impossible: slamming the 74, 520 lb Frenchman. Hogan would go on to drop his famed leg and pin the legendary Andre 1-2-3. The response from the crowd was deafening, and even now Hogan slamming Andre is regularly referred to as one of the biggest moments in wrestling history, with it being witnessed by a mammoth 93,173 in attendance at the Pontiac Silverdome and several million via PPV and closed circuit showings.
