13 New Directions For WWE After SummerSlam 2026
11. Something New For Liv Morgan
Warring with Liv Morgan could be in Paige's immediate future. That's certainly a path open to creative. Y'know what feels tired though? Thinking Judgment Day is about to implode. This writer alone has been suggesting that for the longest time, but it never seems to happen. However, you just know Liv has matches vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez coming someday. Someday.
For now, giving her something new to do and a proper fleshed-out feud would be best. The champ been piggy backing on other people’s stories for too long. She's even been flirting with Danhausen as a means to try and coax those "human monies" out of his spooky little hands. It's been a bit of a downgrade, honestly.
Morgan did score a convincing win over IYO SKY at SummerSlam, so it’s important that she builds on that momentum ahead of Stephanie Vaquer’s inevitable comeback. That's surely the long-term plan for Liv, but it's a little bizarre that she's been shunted to the side whilst champion. Did WWE really have nothing else in mind for her once Vaquer was struck down by injury?!
Apparently not.
Morgan cannot continue being in the shadows behind Dominik Mysterio in Judgment Day any longer. Their romance has run its course, and it's time both got something brand new to sink their teeth into. For Liv, that means finding a challenger who can bring the best out in her in-ring. The IYO matches were solid, but they didn't tear the house down or anything.
Finding an opponent that suits her is imperative.
