You had to question how WWE could fathom putting Reigns into a triple threat match with two popular babyface stars in Ambrose and Lesnar, and expect fans to somehow want to see him win. It reeked of counter-productiveness on the run-up to this year's WrestleMania, unless Reigns put on the performance of a lifetime and won everyone over. The match was pretty good, but it did nothing for Reigns. As anyone with working cognitive functions could have guessed, Reigns was booed loudly, and both opponents received their expected favorable reactions. When Reigns shook off Ambrose's chair shots and routinely speared him to end the match, it didn't exactly turn the fans in his direction. It's not clear what kind of reaction Reigns' staredown with Triple H at the end received, since it appeared the crowd mics had been muted.
