WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts is famous for his tenure with the McMahons' company, but in 1992, he had a brief stopover in Atlanta. Roberts debuted in the late summer and immediately began feuding with Sting. The two met in the main event of Halloween Havoc in a Coal Miner's Glove match (after a non-gimmicked "Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal" wheel selected the stipulation), Sting won, and Roberts left WCW shortly thereafter due to his personal problems.
