4. Really Hope This Wasn’t A ‘Mania Preview…

Fans in Pittsburgh were real quiet during Giulia vs. Tiffany Stratton. Like, real quiet.

Stratton needs a change, man. She maybe needed to go heel a while ago, because the smiling babyface act isn’t working anymore. Tiffany has lost everything that made her cool early last year, and is veering too close to Michelle McCool as a babyface territory. No, that's not meant as a compliment. Meanwhile, Giulia is back to struggling after a decent stretch herself.

It says everything that Kiana James standing with the Women’s US Title at ringside looked more fitting than either Giulia and Tiffany right now. Here’s hoping this wasn’t a teaser for more to come between these women at WrestleMania 42. Surely not. If so, then it’ll be a rough ride in Vegas for both of them, because it's hard to see the crowd at 'Mania reacting any better than the one on SmackDown did to a rematch.

Plus, Giulia just pinned Tiffy, so what claim would Stratton even have to a title shot? This should've been a banner win for the champ, and something she can point to as clear progress on WWE's main roster, but...it isn't. It came after a boring bout that didn't grip the audience or particularly do much for the Women's US Title cause.

If it wasn't for what's going on in the tag scene, then the female ranks on SmackDown could be stuffed in the same 'this is rubbish' category across the board. Everything feels so phoned in and lame for the ladies right now.
