5 Biggest Winners & Losers From WWE In 2025
10. Winner: Oba Femi
NXT has its fair share of options for the "biggest winners" category, including new acquisitions who already became champions like Blake Monroe and Ricky Saints, to double champions like Ethan Page, Jacy Jayne, and Sol Ruca, standouts like EVOLVE Women's Champion and Iron Survivor Kendal Grey, and those who even won TNA titles like Trick Williams and Kelani Jordan.
But if you're going to pick just one name from this group, it's hard to argue it shouldn't be The Ruler of NXT himself, Oba Femi.
Femi ended 2024 by winning the Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline, going on to start 2025 at New Year's Evil by dethroning Williams for the NXT Championship.
For 262 days, Femi fought all comers and retained that title, keeping up his nigh-unstoppable track record of having only lost twice in 2024 to Tony D'Angelo.
Femi eventually suffered his third true loss at No Mercy, dropping the NXT Championship to Saints. But after taking a month or so off, Femi returned and promptly won the title back from Saints 69 days later.
Femi is ending his year working John Cena's retirement event, facing the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. You can't get much better than that.
