In a rarity for a WWE event, last night's NXT Halloween Havoc saw not one, not two, but three titles change hands.

Halloween Havoc opened with the exciting tandem of Je'Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater defeating AAA's Mr. Iguana and the new La Parka, which was followed by Ethan Page retaining his NXT North American Title against Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Day of the Dead match.

Up third, and the first title switch of the night, it was Blake Monroe defeating Zaria to become the NXT Women's North American Champion. Of course, Zaria had replaced Sol Ruca in this match after Sol suffered an injury on SmackDown earlier this month, and this injury played a part in the finish here. With Ruca watching from ringside, Monroe knocked over Sol's crutch, causing her to fall over. After Zaria had gone to check on her friend, Blake hit the Glamour Shot DDT on the outside, rolled Zaria back into the ring, and hit a second Glamour Shot for the 1-2-3, marking a first slice of WWE gold for the former AEW Women's Champion.

Following that match, Jacy Jayne put her NXT Women's Title on the line against Tatum Paxley. To the surprise of many, perennial underdog Paxley got the win to become the new NXT Women's Champion. After interference from Fatal Influence and the Culling, the finish saw Izzi Dame enter the ring with the NXT Women's Title in her hand. As Vic Joseph speculated over who Dame was looking to hit with that belt, Jacy cut her off, flooring Izzi, but giving Paxley the perfect opportunity to hit her Psycho Trap finish for the win.

A third consecutive title change then saw DarkState reclaim the NXT Tag Team Titles from the Hardys in a Broken Rules match, where all four members of DarkState had some involvement. Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin were the legal DarkStage men in this one, and the bout wrapped up after Lennox climbed a ladder in the ring, and Jeff Hardy was put through a table with a Doomsday Device. That brings Matt and Jeff's run with those titles to an end at just 18 days.

Elsewhere at Halloween Havoc, the main event saw Ricky Saints keep hold of the NXT Championship, putting Trick Williams away with a spear and his tornado DDT.
