Logan Paul isn't the babyface WWE wants him to be.

There's no sense in denying it - LP got booed hard by an Ohio crowd who badly wanted to see Roman Reigns strut down the aisle and spark him out with a Superman Punch. Instead, those folks watched as Paul did some punching of his own and WWE focused more on the side story of Sami Zayn vs. Jey Uso.

That's fine and all, but...Paul has a World Title pay-per-view match coming up. Wouldn't it have been a smart use of TV time to prep that? Granted, Logan's wonky 'I'm happy to be here'-style promo didn't kill SmackDown. There was still enough to enjoy without Reigns too, which isn't always the case.

Bray Wyatt produced a contender for promo of the year, Rey Mysterio showed why peeps should be excited about his upcoming IC Title bout with GUNTHER, Sheamus had another physical war (and did the honours for a young star). Hell, even the Women's Tag-Team Title division managed to shine brightly on Friday.

Negatives included that LP segment, a confusing piece of presentation for Liv Morgan's new character and WWE painting itself right into a corner with booking elsewhere.
