4. Revival Cashes In This Time

When The Revival came out for a second consecutive week to interject themselves into a Bobby Lashley/Roman Reigns argument, a couple thoughts flashed by: They were going to be human punching bags again, and even if they won, it would be due to a walkout or inadvertent attack from a partner.

Instead, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder hung in there – while taking a fair amount of abuse – against Lashley and Reigns, and managed out outsmart their opponents, taking advantage of the duo arguing and Roman forgetting who the legal man was to get the win. Lashley did get knocked off the apron when Reigns sidestepped Dawson, but it was Roman spearing Scott and missing Dash rolling him up that cost his team.

Outsmarting your opponent to score a win, especially one week after losing to the same team, is a nice twist on the usual “reluctant tag partners’ escalating tension costs them” genre we get in WWE.
