6. Has No Inclination To Work A Full-Time Schedule
Extending the previous point, why would Batista want to work a full WWE schedule in 2015? It's becoming more and more popular a choice for older stars to work a limited number of dates. The likes of The Undertaker, Triple H and even Shawn Michaels - before he retired - have explored this. Recently, even Randy Orton has examined the possibility of reducing the number of bookings he has. It's highly unlikely that Batista would wish to work every single television show, Pay-Per-View and live event. Age isn't the only factor here, the man has simply done that routine to death. Through his acting work, he's used to a lighter impact on his joints and general body, going back to a full-time schedule would likely be hell for the man. It's possible that some kind of arrangement could be made, but the WWE roster is light on genuine star power. With John Cena set to take some extended time off, and not before time, the company need main event stars that can run hard. Previously, the promotion could rely on Cena, but even he requires some time to rest up. Batista would require more time than Cena, there's no way the full schedule would appeal to him.
