7 Reasons Why Batista Won't Ever Return To WWE

7. He's No Spring Chicken

The muscle-bound man known as Batista on WWE television is now 46 years old. Admittedly, that's not the oldest age on the current roster. The Undertaker is 50, Sting is 56, and Triple H is the same age as 'The Animal'. Many stars have shown that age is no barrier, but it must take a toll on men and women competing regularly in the world of professional wrestling. Upon his return in 2014, Batista looked his age. There's no shame in that, but it wasn't the hulking beast that fans had grown accustomed to before the man left in 2010. When he did so, Batista looked in great shape, but he slimmed down significantly before making a last-minute comeback. The reasons for this were numerous, but included training for an MMA career and various film roles. In truth, there was no real need for Batista to maintain the physique he was known for in pro wrestling. When he did return, he didn't look as robust or physically impressive as he previously had done. That trend is likely to progress as he ages further, there's no way to halt time. Nobody wants to see half the man they could watch perform before, so that's likely something Batista is thinking about.
