Montez Ford was both the focus of both the narrative and The Usos themselves following the sh*t-kicking he took from Roman Reigns on Friday's SmackDown.

Ford dropped the theatrics on the pre-show to put forth a more serious side, having suffered the worst of Roman Reigns' temper while Angelo Dawkins wasn't there to make the save. But his ribs were a target for the Champions, who persistently used the weakness until it became the undoing for the Challengers.

When Jey Uso got the knees up during Ford's From The Heavens attempt, things looked bleak, but Dawkins didn't want to fail his friend. Everything was measured impeccably from there - neither Profit was at fault for the eventual defeat. Ford killed himself for the cause, Dawkins showed loyalty and guts, but neither had quite enough of either when it mattered most.
