OK, so that chant didn€™t break out (not that could be heard on TV), but it certainly could apply to Kevin Owens and Cesaro. The two had an awesome match to kick off Raw, giving fans a good look at the €œnew era€ that WWE seems to want to push.

Cesaro came up short at Payback, but he clearly is getting a chance to showcase his talents in the ring, getting some serious height on a dropkick to Owens on the top rope, and then hitting a gutwrench suplex off the second turnbuckle. KO, meanwhile, threw his body around with a (bull)frog splash and his usual arsenal.

The match itself ended in a DQ, which was to set up a bigger angle (more on that later), but it certainly was entertaining. If this is what the €œnew era€ will bring on a regular basis, then that€™s definitely something we€™d like to see continue.
