6. Egging On Stephanie

Dean Ambrose might be billed as the Lunatic Fringe, but he played it clever Monday night as he hosted what would be his final episode of the Ambrose Asylum and brought on Stephanie McMahon as a guest.

Ambrose wasn€™t buying Stephanie€™s calm, rational and peaceful façade, and he spent the lion€™s share of the segment trying to pull the mean, vindictive, shrill version of Steph out. He tried to goad Stephanie with digs about getting speared at WrestleMania, how Shane walked out on WWE for seven years and was reinserted right back at the top of the company, and how even with all her long hours of loyalty and dedication to WWE, she was only on equal footing with her brother.

All of that ultimately hit its mark €“ unfortunately for Dean €“ as Stephanie calmly canceled the Ambrose Asylum and brought back Chris Jericho€™s Highlight Reel. (That ended with Y2J hitting a Codebreaker on Ambrose.) But Ambrose definitely hit a nerve when he poked at Stephanie, which was an interesting segment, seeing him enjoy jabbing her.
