8 Ways Triple H’s WWE Is JUST LIKE Vince McMahon’s

3. Screwy Finish City

Barely an episode of WWE television passes by without some bullsh*t going on somewhere. It is relentless. It’s a grim echo of the late 2010s, during which Vince didn’t seem to fancy any of his wrestlers, and just had them trade meaningless wins, usually by booking heels to cheat, as if that even worked to get substantive heat.

The Judgment Day run through the same distract the ref, slide a belt to a stablemate routine every single week. The Vision does the exact same thing, only with a pair of brass knuckles.

Vince McMahon developed an awful habit of making his babyfaces look like petulant children who pranked their heel opponents - you might recall Ricochet stealing Sheamus’ clothes and hat - and in 2026, Bayley is similarly insufferable. She likes to hide under the ring to taunt Lyra Valkyria. This Christ-awful rapscallion gimmick sucks sh*t.

Triple H doesn’t like beating guys that he sees something in. He also won’t pull the trigger on those guys for years and years, which results in a constant load of rubbish, predictable finishes. He sees a lot in Bron Breakker, which is fair, but since Bron is still error-prone and hasn’t yet wrestled an unqualified success of a breakthrough singles match, virtually all of his finishes are tainted.

He lost to Penta on the October 20, 2026 episode of Raw after Je’Von Evans interfered. His match against Trick Williams on the October 9 SmackDown went to a no-contest. He lost to Je’Von by disqualification on the September 21 Raw after yet more Vision interference.

Breakker is a wrestler whose matches and finishes do not matter at all, because Triple H learned the “art” of the holding pattern from dad-uh.
