7. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin

Similar to his brother from another generation, John Cena, Steve Austin took a pair of shears to his head because his hair had already started the natural process of abdicating.

Going from a (Hollywood) blonde combover to a 'Stone Cold' chrome dome, Austin's deserted crown helped unlock his true path, as he embarked on arguably the finest run anybody has ever had in WWE with his newly naked noggin, which was apparently inspired by Bruce Willis' character in Pulp Fiction. As Austin put it during an UpUpDownDown livestream, of all places (h/t WrestlingNews.co):

"We were working in Pittsburgh one night, and I was travelling down the road with Goldust. I still had the buzz haircut. I didn't have the goatee. I looked at myself in the mirror, and I looked like a raggamuffin. I looked at myself and said, 'Dude, what are you doing?', so I just shaved my head. I went to the building that night, and everybody said, 'Dude, why did you shave your head?' The hair would do me no good anyway. It was inspired by Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction."

It's just as well 'The Texas Rattlesnake' left his hair on the hotel room floor, because for as much as being bald opened up a beautiful career for him, that combover also looked straight out of 1930s Germany.
