9. Remain Babyface

First things first and, for better or worse, it seems that Roman Reigns’ most immediate next step will be to continue performing as a babyface.

During those aforementioned summer months, it looked like the company may have been toying with the idea of ditching the Roman Reigns face push. On top of the fact that he was tangling with other good guys like Ambrose and Balor, it also felt like he was starting to develop a slightly more attitudinal side to his character.

Ultimately though, it didn’t amount to anything. Since switching his attention to Rusev and the US title, Reigns has once again been cast as the face irrespective of whether he has the audience’s full backing or not.

Though the boos persist, I personally feel like he's shown an improvement in recent months, almost as though the move away from the main event spotlight has afforded him the freedom to be more natural and confident.

Still, regardless of what I think, it’s the company that gets the final say; and based on his journey to winning the belt, it looks like they’ll continue to push Roman Reigns as a babyface in light of his US title win.
