AEW All In 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

10. ‘Zero Hour’ Dilutes The Main Event’s Appeal

Putting MJF and Adam Cole out there for an avoidable ROH Tag Title match on the pre-show is a risk. It could, in theory, spoil the special feel of seeing them come out for the World Title bout later in the night. That's something Tony Khan probably factored in when booking.

Hopefully!

You just wouldn't really see this over on the WWE side for an event being hyped as 'Mania worthy though. For example, Triple H wasn't going to stick Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes in a senseless tag match on the Kickoff portion in SoFi Stadium before they locked horns in the headliner.

That'd dilute the appeal of seeing both guys make their entrances later, and the same will be true for Friedman and Cole. Making them work twice when they're literally in the show's World Title bout comes across as fairly short-sighted more than anything. Let's hope AEW doesn't pay for this decision.
