PWInsider reported on Thursday that Sasha Banks and Naomi had finally been removed from WWE's internal roster, having not appeared since being suspended indefinitely shortly after walking out of the 16 May tapings.

In an update, Fightful Select states that the former Women's Tag Team Champions vanished from other internal listings "weeks" ago. And if you were wondering why the duo both still have profiles on WWE.com, that's simple: nobody has been instructed to remove them yet.

Whether or not Banks or Naomi have been released yet remains a cloudy matter. That Sasha had been cut loose was reported in June, though several outlets reported conflicting stories soon after. In this latest update, Fightful stated that talent relations had not sent out an email informing WWE personnel of any cuts relating to Banks or Naomi, with one company representative noting that things have gone quiet. Creative, however, has been working on the belief that the duo won't be returning at all.

WWE was yet to publically confirm Sasha or Naomi's release at the time of writing.

The situation is seemingly no longer a hot-button topic backstage, with PWInsider reporting last week that the locker room had "moved on" from Sasha's saga specifically.
