Closing out this latest edition of SNME, it was Punk pinning Jey Uso after hitting a pair of GTSs on Main Event Jey to get the 1-2-3. This marks the Second City Saint's second run with this iteration of the World Heavyweight Title, following his previous brief reign, which began and ended at this year's SummerSlam.

Following the match, WWE posted footage of Cody Rhodes putting the World Heavyweight Title around CM Punk's waist backstage. Cody had earlier retained his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre after hitting McIntyre with a DDT onto that title, then landing a Cross Rhodes for the win.

Elsewhere at Saturday Night's Main Event, Jade Cargill dominated Tiffany Stratton in barely five minutes to become the new WWE Women's Champion. Jade's victory came after hitting a couple of powerbombs and the Jaded, which brought an end to a match that saw Cargill mainly target the same leg that Tiffy had 'injured' on SmackDown.

Rounding at the SNME card, it was Dominik Mysterio eeking out a win over Penta and Rusev. The finish there came when Penta - aiming for Dirty Dom - accidentally hit Rusev with the ring bell hammer, with Mysterio pinning the Bulgarian Brute with a frog splash after having posted Penta.

Last night also saw a 16-man tournament announced, where the winner will face John Cena in Cena's retirement match at the 13 December Saturday Night's Main Event.
