Former WWE star Reginald/Reggie/Scrypts has claimed that almost headlined WrestleMania 37 alongside Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone and Bianca Belair in 2021. According to Reg, ex-boss Vince McMahon was keen on booking an inter-gender Triple Threat to go on last during the first night in Tampa, Florida 5 years ago.

Reggie revealed this during an interview for Rewind Recap Relive. He also aware just how much the fanbase (and other wrestlers backstage) would've hated this call, but says McMahon was dead set on making it happen at one point - presumably until somebody talked him out of it.

During a crunch backstage meeting, one Reg called "stupid", Vince brought everybody together and said he thought the trio would have good "chemistry" as rivals. When everyone asked him to elaborate, all McMahon could do was keep repeating that word over and over and over again: "I don't know, damn it. It's chemistry".

Apparently, such a ridiculous idea didn't need any justification. Vince simply wanted to see what would happen.

Looking back, Reginald is actually happy that he didn't go on last with Sasha and Bianca. He knew how much that singles clash meant to both women, and he also realised it'd be wrong to rob them of that moment. It'd be cool to go on last at 'Mania, obviously, but it didn't make a lick of sense.

Thankfully, Vince came to his senses and went with Bianca vs. Sasha in a one on one setting instead. Otherwise, he would've had some serious explaining to do as to why he'd fudged 'Mania with one of the worst creative decisions in WWE history.
