While Tatum Paxley is one name who's been heavily rumoured to soon be on their way to the WWE main roster, it appears that Lola Vice is the next NXT talent who'll be getting called up.

Per Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, it's understood that "Lola Vice has been called up and will likely be on SmackDown."

Interestingly, Lola and Mr. Iguana lost the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles to La Hiedra and Laredo Kid last night, which could be taken as an indicator that WWE is getting Vice ready for that main roster move.

As for her imminent future, Lola Vica is set to face NXT Women's Champion Kendal Grey on the August 4th episode of NXT in an Underground match. For those keeping score, Lola is undefeated in her previous four Underground contests - wins over Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Jaida Parker, and Kelani Jordan - and that particular match type has become the 28-year-old's speciality bout, leaning into her legitimate MMA roots.

Purely your writer speaking here, but the undefeated-in-Underground Lola Vice putting over Kendal Grey in that match would certainly be a fitting way to wrap up Lola's time with the NXT brand; a time that's seen her become one of the most popular stars on the brand, complete with winning the 2023 Women's Breakout Tournament, before going on to eventually win the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver earlier this year, pinning then-champ Jacy Jayne in a triple threat bout also featuring Kendal Grey. Vice would lose that prize to Grey at The Great American Bash last month.

In the case of Lola Vice, much like the aforementioned Tatum Paxley, she's somebody who's been heavily rumoured for a main roster move for the past few months, with Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, and Kendal Grey others tentatively discussed for a move to Raw or SmackDown.
