MORE NXT Call-Ups Expected On WWE Raw & SmackDown This Summer (WWE News)

Triple H might call up more NXT stars to pad Raw and SmackDown's rosters.

BodySlam+ reports that further NXT call-ups could well be on the way soon - as early as "this summer". WWE chief Triple H is interested in adding to the main roster pack on both Raw and SmackDown after seeing workers like Sol Ruca, Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Fatal Influence and others successfully transition from developmental.

Interestingly, all of the names rumoured are from NXT's women's division. That really goes to show the fine job Shawn Michaels has done on that front since taking control of the third brand.

Likely candidates for promotion include reigning NXT Women's Champ Lola Vice and Women's North American Champion Tatum Paxley. It's unclear whether either would be asked to drop the belts they hold before moving to Raw or SmackDown; Lola is also in a real-life relationship with Damian Priest, so it'd make sense if she was blue brand bound.

Other names such as Izzi Dame, Kelani Jordan, Zaria and Kendal Grey are also named in BodySlam's write up. However, the website did note that "this remains tentative and subject to change as plans continue to shift heading into the summer".

Clearly, fans should take off this with a pinch of salt. It is easy to throw NXT names around and say, 'Yeah, they're probably heading to the main roster'. Vice, Paxley, Dame, Jordan, Zaria and Grey have all been turning heads though, so it wouldn't be a massive surprise if they showed up between now and SummerSlam in August.

Hunter is obviously keen to redevelop his rosters on the main shows, and rightly so. The post-WrestleMania 42 refreshing continues.
