At last night's AEW Dynasty, not only did the Dogs lose the AEW Trios Titles, but Gabe Kidd suffered an injury in the process.

Dynasty saw Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay lose those belts to the Conglomeration's Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and the returning Kyle O'Reilly, and f4wonline's Bryan Alvarez said that was always the plan, even though the Dogs had only won the Trios Titles on Collision the day before Dynasty.

However, the bigger talking point is the injury to Gabe Kidd, with Alvarez believing the injury to be a dislocated shoulder. That injury led to Kidd being escorted to the back mid-match.

Speaking on the post-Dynasty media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan had an unfortunate update on Gabe, confirming that it was indeed a shoulder injury, that the talent was being evaluated by medical staff, and that the Brit will be "out indefinitely".

Having made sporadic appearances for AEW as far back as 2024, it was announced last month that Gabe Kidd - and Clark Connors and David Finlay - were formally #AllElite, with the trio taking on the moniker of the Dogs; a spin on their War Dogs name in NJPW. Per Tony Khan, it appears that the Dogs will be a man down for the foreseeable future, but here's hoping Kidd isn't out of action for too long, as he's a hugely talented prospect who could easily become a long-term main event player for AEW.
