Ric Flair's Nature Boy gimmick required little in the way of fine-tuning, because it stood tall at the top of the wrestling mountain for over 25 years. His unique cadence, wide-eyed delivery, and over-the-top intensity were the trademark staples that made him 'The Man'. 

In fact, Ric barely changed anything about his presentation. His entrance music was the same in five different decades; he didn't ever change his look; he never dyed his hair, because can you even begin to imagine Ric Flair with brown hair? Absolutely not! He didn't ever ditch his fancy suits and aviator sunglasses for a leather jacket and some Oakleys.

The colour of the robes may have changed, but the strut down the aisle didn't need to. He didn't ever trade in his trademark trunks for long-boys. He wrestled in New Japan as The Nature Boy. WWE, WCW, and TNA all got the same Ric Flair. Slick Ric was so magnetic and captivating for his entire career that he didn't need the gimmick changes and look alterations that almost every other performer in wrestling has required. 

Flair's message was loud and proud. Why meddle with a masterpiece?
