Kenny Omega To Return To The AEW Singles Ranks?
Could the Best Bout Machine soon have a renewed focus on singles success?
Having recently lost the AEW Trios Titles, could Kenny Omega now being about to return to the singles ranks of All Elite Wrestling?
Since returning to AEW programming at November's Full Gear PPV, Omega has had just two singles matches. One of those was against Hagane Shinno on AEW Dark, and the other was a bout which didn't even take place under the AEW banner; that being Kenny's war with Will Ospreay at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
For many AEW fans, they've been clamouring to see Omega partake in more one-on-one action and possibly have singles gold in his crosshairs once more. On that front, a tweet from Don Callis today has been taken by some as being a tease that the Best Bout Machine will indeed now be more focussed on singles competition.

Whether this post does indeed mean that Kenny will now be switching his attention to solo success remains to be seen, but having the Canadian in and around the main event picture and the AEW World Title scene certainly would not be a bad thing if that is the route that AEW and Omega have decided upon.
For those who may have missed it, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks lost the AEW Trios Titles to the House of Black at Revolution this past Sunday.
Of course, recent reports note how WWE has significant interest in Omega, with the talent's AEW contract due to expire later this year. Likewise, those same reports state that the 39-year-old is "open-minded" to any possible approach from the market leader.
