Latest On Roman Reigns' Post-SummerSlam Status (WWE News)
Is Roman Reigns sticking around after WWE SummerSlam?
With Roman Reigns making a post-WrestleMania 42 promise that he'd be sticking around for the summer, some fans have questioned whether that could mean the OTC is set for a WWE hiatus once SummerSlam is done and dusted.
On that front, it appears that the current World Heavyweight Champion is sticking around fairly regularly until at least mid-September.
As announced by WWE, Roman's schedule now looks like:
- August 2nd: WWE SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- August 3rd: WWE Raw in Des Moines, Iowa
- August 17th: WWE Raw in Buffalo, New York
- August 28th: WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown double taping in Cleveland, Ohio
- September 14th: WWE Raw in Mexico City
- October 5th: WWE Raw in St. Louis, Missouri
- October 10th: WWE Money in the Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana

Of course, just because Roman Reigns is advertised for multiple post-SummerSlam dates, that doesn't mean he can't lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins at SummerSlam this weekend, but Reigns was already the clear favourite to walk out of Minneapolis' U.S. Bank Stadium with Raw's top men's prize still over his shoulder. With the confirmation of those further dates throughout August and into September, that only leans into this even more.
Reigns vs. Rollins is set to close out SummerSlam Night 2, with WWE Champion CM Punk defending against Cody Rhodes in the Night 1 main event.
