Major AEW Star Injured, Plans Changed For Tonight's Dynamite
AEW has announced that this hugely popular talent is currently dealing with an injury.
Originally set to be in triple threat action against Toni Storm and Ruby Soho on tonight's AEW Dynamite, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. has been pulled from that bout.
Taking to Twitter, AEW announced that Baker is dealing with an unspecified injury, and that, as a result of this, Dynamite will now see Storm and Soho go one-on-one.
Due to injury, Dr. @RealBrittBaker D.M.D. will not be able to compete in the scheduled 3-Way Match on #AEWDynamite.

At this stage, the Role Model herself has yet to comment on this matter, and it remains to be seen whether this injury is a short-term problem or something more serious. Of course, hopefully this is only a minor injury for Britt, and hopefully it's one that she'll be able to make a swift recovery from.
Baker last competed on the 11 January episode of AEW Dynamite, where she and AEW Women's Champion Jamie Hayter emerged victorious over Saraya and Toni Storm.
With Saraya and Storm having seemingly now turned heel following a vicious post-match attack on Willow Nightingale last week, it appeared that the former WWE tandem's arrogance at having worked at the "other place" was potentially leading to a full-on babyface run for Britt Baker as a homegrown AEW hero.
Given how AEW has maintained the ever-entertaining Britt as a featured TV presence during previous spells out injured, it may well be that we'll still see be seeing the Good Doctor on AEW programming from week-to-week until she's cleared to return to in-ring action.
