AEW's Britt Baker STILL Not Cleared To Compete

The good doctor remains on the shelf despite All Out's Tooth & Nail match.

Britt Baker still hasn't been cleared to compete inside and All Elite Wrestling ring, according to Fightful Select.

AEW's 'Role Model' has been on the shelf since teaming with Nyla Rose to defeat Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander on a May episode of Dynamite. Baker quickly announced that she'd return to action at All Out after Rose was awkwardly slammed onto her bent knee, fracturing her interior tibia and causing partial LCL and small tendon tears, though this was seen as ambitious timeframe.

Technically, Britt did compete at All Out, working Big Swole in a cinematic Tooth and Nail match, though it was far from a traditional bout. A pretaped and heavily-edited scrap saw Swole and Baker brawl throughout the latter's dental practice rather than engaging in a traditional bout, which may have put Britt's healing knee at risk.

Tony Khan commented in his pre-All Out media conference call that the clash was done this way to protect Britt, who is said to have earned backstage props for the way she has worked through the injury, having maintained a heavy TV presence in spite of it. Fingers crossed she's able to get back in the ring soon.
