Major WWE Names Present At UFC Freedom 250 (WWE News)

Plenty of big WWE names were in attendance for UFC Freedom 250.

With UFC Freedom 250 now in the books, several major WWE names were present at that event.

As shown on the Paramount broadcast, WWE COO Paul 'Triple H' Levesque - a part of Donald Trump's President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition - and current World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns were in attendance on the South Lawn of the White House. Elsewhere, WWE President Nick Khan, Shane McMahon, and Shane's son Declan were also at UFC Freedom 250, though not shown on camera.

Of course, WWE and UFC are nowadays sister companies under the TKO banner, and various WWE wrestlers were a part of the pre-UFC Freedom 250 fan fest over the weekend.

For those non-MMA fans, UFC Freedom 250 made history by taking place on the South Lawn of the White House yesterday, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence and also US President Donald Trump's 80th birthday.

In the UFC Freedom 250 main event, Interim UFC Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje sensationally defeated the previously undefeated Ilia Topuria to become the new UFC Lightweight Champion. The rest of the card saw Ciryl Gane defeat Alex Pereira by TKO to become the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion in the co-main event; Sean O'Malley defeated Aiemann Zahabi by TKO; Josh Hokit defeated Derrick Lewis by TKO; Mauricio Ruffy defeated Michael Chandler by TKO; Bo Nickal defeated Kyle Daukaus by TKO; and Diego Lopes defeated Steve Garcia by KO.
